Watch Two Great Albert Almora Diving Grabs (Video)

Albert Almora, the Cubs consensus top ten prospect, has made a couple great catches this spring that show off his tremendous defensive abilities (at 23 years old, seriously..). First was this diving snag robbing Kansas City’s Parker Morin on March 16:

Next is this beauty that came against the Mets this past Friday:

I could definitely get used to seeing Albert make plays like this for years to come, I’m just not sure when he’ll get playing time. It’s possible he’d get a call up this year if the Cubs get stretched in the outfield. What a luxury it is to know he’s waiting if we need him (which, of course, hopefully we won’t).
