Cubs Clips: Video Highlights of the Cubs 14-6 Win Against the Dbacks
Last night’s game was incredibly entertaining so we thought we’d help you out by putting together a compilation of Cubs highlights. Now, you can just wake up, lie in bed, watch some highlights, be happy, roll over and go back to sleep. Before you do that last part, here are the highlights.
- In the top of the second inning, Addison Russell rips a bases loaded single up the middle to drive in Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant (CHC 2, ARI 3):
- Next up, here’s a really cool statcast look at Dexter Fowler as he catches a fly ball in short center, preventing a run with a heads-up defensive play. We’ll also see his triple (4th inning) to the gap in right center, with an exit velocity of 109.7 MPH and a launch angle of 19 degrees, he hits the ball 419 feet…impressive. Oh, not to mention he hit 20.2 MPH as he ran to third base (CHC 5, ARI 6):
- The Cubs plated five runs in the fourth inning to take the lead 9-6. Here’s Anthony Rizzo lacing a triple down the right field line to score Jason Heyward and Ben Zobrist (CHC 8, ARI 6):
- And, of course, we love Anthony Rizzo because he likes to hit home runs and here’s proof with a 3-run shot in the top of the ninth to seal it for the Cubs (CHC 14, ARI 6):
