Injury Update: Miguel Montero Working His Way Back

Miguel Montero has been on the DL, retroactively, since April 25th and is eligible to return as early as tomorrow. In a report by Gordon Wittenmyer (below) it looks like Miguel will start a minor-league rehab assignment this week.

Tim Federowicz will remain on the big-league squad until Miggy returns, possibly at some point this coming weekend. We’ll update you when we get more information.

Montero (back) expected to start minor-league rehab assignment this week. An ideal timeline could mean return from DL this weekend.
