Chicago Cubs Lineup: Cubs Seek to Make it Two Straight Over the Giants

Well there certainly was a lot that happened in Yesterday’s game (recap here), not the least of which was the injury to Jason Heyward that happened on his spectacular catch. The Cubs (29-11) won the game but lost a key player in Heyward, who’s MRI results should be released momentarily.

Tonight’s lineup will feature Jorge Soler starting in left field and Ben Zobrist in right. Jorge had a great game yesterday, going 2-for-4 with two runs, an RBI — including a home run — and one heck of a great leaping catch. The Cubs will be hoping to see more performances like that from Jorge while Jason is on the mend.

Jon Lester (4-2) is pitching for the Cubs today and will be looking to improve on his already stellar 1.88 ERA.
