Lester Gem Stops Dodgers in their Tracks (VIDEO)

Jon Lester was in the zone and could not be stopped. He tossed a complete game gem allowing just one hit that hurt, a lead off home run to the Dodgers Enrique Hernandez in the top of the first inning.

Kris Bryant saved the day for the Cubs (36-15), in what turned into a pitching duel, when he pounded a two-run home run in the bottom of the third inning.

And that was all Lester would need as the Cubs cruise to the win by the score of 2-1 behind Lester’s masterful pitching performance.
