Chicago Cubs Lineup: Rizzo Back, Contreras in Left Field
Willson Contreras is starting at left field today, which is fun and intriguing. Joe Maddon is showing a lot of faith in the young man by shifting him around in different positions. He’s now played catcher, first base and left field in his short stint in the majors. Joe obviously likes what his bat has to offer.
John Lackey (7-3, 2-78 ERA) has been sensational so far this season. He’ll look to shut down a Marlins offense that has proven difficult for the Cubs so far in this series.
After missing two games with a sore back, Anthony Rizzo is back in the lineup. His return could be the fuel the Cubs offense needs to get going.
