Chicago Cubs Lineup (Revised): Soler Scratched due to Leg Injury, Szczur in at LF
Joe Maddon has changed the originally posted Cubs’ lineup for today due to an apparent leg injury to Jorge Soler. Fantasy Alarm reported that Soler is going to have an MRI and that this injury is to the hamstring. That’s potentially bad news if it’s true. We’ll update you as soon as we hear more.
In addition to replacing Soler with Matt Szczur, Joe has also made a few positioning changes. Ben Zobrist moves to right field, Javy Baez moves to second, Kris Bryant moves to third and Matt Szczur takes over in left field.
UPDATE: All reports that we’ve seen so far are stating that Jorge’s injury is from when he fouled a ball off his leg in Saturday’s game and not his hamstring, as reported on Fantasy Alarm. We’ll update when we get more information.
