Cubs Clips: WATCH Pat Hughes Call on Addison Russell’s Game Winning Hit Against Giants
Addison Russell was at it again last night, and by ‘at it’ I mean driving in runs and getting key, game winning hits. Russell has 88 RBI this season which is good enough for third on the team behind Kris Bryant (91) and Anthony Rizzo (93). That’s pretty impressive considering that a) Addison is in only his second season in the majors and (b) both Bryant and Rizzo are MVP candidates.
On Thursday night against the Giants, Russell got a key, two out hit in the bottom of the seventh inning to drive in Dexter Fowler and Kris Bryant to score the game winning runs. The venerable Pat Hughes has the call.
