Cubs Clips: WATCH Celebration Video Played at Wrigley Yesterday for NL Central Champs
The last couple of days have sure been a whirlwind for all Cubs fans. First, the Cubs didn’t clinch at home on Thursday night, in front of the sellout crowd and the most-watched regular season broadcast in the history of CSN (Danny Ecker). And then the Giants beat the Cardinals leading to the Cubs clinching while they were heading home from their game later Thursday night.
Everyone woke up yesterday to find out that the Cubs had, somewhat anti-climatically, clinched the division. Not so fast. Yes, that did happen but no one knew what magic was about to unfurl at Wrigley Field. It was a party for the ages after the Cubs come-from-behind, walk off win yesterday.
If you were following my ‘Follow Me to Wrigley’ posts (Post 1, Post 2, Post 3, Tweet 1, Tweet 2) then you already know that I flew from Arizona to Chicago on Thursday to ‘hopefully’ watch the Cubs clinch at Wrigley Field. I was there Thursday and Friday and what I witnessed was incredible, almost surreal.
So surreal..just flew over Sloan Park, where it all started, after witnessing the @Cubs amazing win at Wrigley today. #blessed

One of the coolest parts of the experience came when the Cubs played an amazing video before the game on the Wrigley Field video boards showing highlights from the entire season. It was an incredible video to watch and now you can watch it too. After they played the video all the players came out to thank the fans….by the way, that was supposed to be the celebration of the NL Central Division title. It turned out there was a much bigger celebration to follow. They added video of the post-game celebration to the end of the video too. Enjoy!
