Cubs Clips: WATCH David Ross Hit a Home Run in His Final Regular Season Game at Wrigley Field

Tonight belonged to David Ross and he obliged when he kindly showed his appreciation to the fans, the sport and his teammates when he pounded a home run into the left field bleachers in the bottom of the fifth inning. Wrigley Field broke into a frenzy. And, on a night when baseball needed it more than ever, Ross did what he’s been doing his entire career, he made us all feel ok, like we could do it, like we could move. Mr. Motivation. Mr. David Ross.

You know, that David Ross homer, in this his final home game, to give the Cubs the lead … that’s the kind of baseball joy today needs.
