Chicago Cubs Lineup – Oct 2, 2016: Hendricks on the Hill for the 2016 Season Regular Finale

Kyle Hendricks (16-8, 1.99 ERA) will get one last shot today to make his case for the 2016 Cy Young award as he goes up against the Cincinnati Reds (68-93) in the Chicago Cubs (102-58) game number 162. Wow, I can’t believe the regular season is over. It some respects I’m a little sad and in others – lots of others – I couldn’t be more excited.

Joe Maddon is going, again, with a cast of regulars in the starting lineup today. Most notably is Jorge Soler’s return to the lineup after missing some time with a sore right side.
