Postseason Update: Jon Lester Will Start Game One of NLCS
No surprise here. Today, Joe Maddon announced that Jon Lester will indeed start game one of the NLCS. The popular belief is that Kyle Hendricks would be the game two starter but Joe wants to wait until he gets final word on the status of Kyle Hendricks before making that decision.

Lester was incredible in game one of the NLDS, pitching 8 innings allowing no runs on five hits and no walks.
If Hendricks is given a clean bill of health – Kyle left game two of the NLDS with a right forearm contusion – then he’ll start game two, Arrieta will likely start game three and I assume that John Lackey will start game four. We’ll update you when we get final word.
