Chicago Cubs World Series Roster Has Been Set; Kyle Schwarber Officially in
The rumors have been swirling for a few days and we reported yesterday that it was likely Kyle Schwarber would be included on the Cubs World Series roster. It’s now official, as you’ll see below, Kyle is on the roster and may very likely DH in game one tonight in Cleveland. If you haven’t seen his recent AFL rehab at-bats, you can check out videos of those for his first game and his second game.
With Kyle added to the roster someone had to drop off. We now know that was Rob Zastryzny, who never ended up making an appearance for the Cubs while he was on the roster during the NLCS. So the Cubs will go with 11 pitchers instead of the 12 they carried in the NLCS.
Welcome back to Kyle! This is set up to be an incredible World Series. Be sure to check out our World Series preview too.
