Chicago Cubs Lineup: Joe Maddon Sticks with the Regulars Against the Athletics, Arrieta on the Hill
I’ll be the first to admit that when I saw the Cubs’ lineup yesterday I thought it was going to be a huge offensive day for the team. It wasn’t. In fact, the Cubs ended up winning 4-3 after Ian Happ busted a deep two-run home run in the bottom of the 8th inning. Eloy Jimenez and Kyle Schwarber each had solo bombs too, but it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting.
Today’s lineup is again filled with regular starters and it’d be great to start with back-to-back-to-back jacks. Is that asking too much?
Jake Arrieta will get his second start of the Spring today as well. The gametime is 3:05 PM CT and will be shown on MLB.TV.
