Watch: Cubs’ New ‘Play Like it’s Been 109 Years’ Motto Comes to Life

We all know the narrative: the Cubs spent 108 years chasing the World Series title they finally won last year. So how do they top that? Simple, they build on it.

Imagine a world in which the Cubs didn’t win, where it’s been 109 years. Thankfully, we don’t have to live in that world. But hey, it’s a pretty cool new theme for the team and certain to provide some motivation and connection to the not-so-distant past.
