Happ has been having a great year so far playing for the Triple-A Iowa Cubs. His slash line stands at .250/.333/.571 and he’s pounded eight home runs.
As one of the Cubs’ top two prospects — the other being Eloy Jimenez — a lot of eyes will be paying close attention to his recovery. He’ll be replaced on the I-Cubs roster by Chris Dominguez, who has been taking part in extended Spring Training in Mesa, Arizona.
