Watch: Cubs Beat Reporter Jordan Bastian Talks Shop on ‘The Rant’

You may have missed it if you haven’t been paying attention to the Cubs Insider YouTube channel, but we recently launched a new live show called ‘The Rant.’ Now you can join hosts Evan Altman and Jon Strong from Cubs Insider, and Danny Rockett from Son Ranto podcast daily at 3:30pm CT or watch recorded shows at your leisure.

Last week’s shows featured Ivy Envy’s Corey Fineran and Julie DiCaro, a sports radio host and author. On Monday we hosted Tony Andracki from Marquee Sports Network. You can check out each of those shows on the CI YouTube channel anytime.

On Tuesday, we were joined by Jordan Bastian, the Cubs beat reporter for MLB.com. Bastian grew up a Cubs fan in the Chicago area and he shared his experience of transitioning from Cleveland to Chicago and his mixed emotions covering the Indians during the 2016 World Series. He also talked about the silver lining around the current state of things, and much more.
