Cody Bellinger Arrived at Wrigley Thursday Afternoon

Cody Bellinger needed just two games at Triple-A Iowa to show he was ready to rejoin the Cubs. Though he went 1-for-7 with two strikeouts and an RBI, the center fielder/first baseman really just had to get in some live game action. He is back with the Cubs in Chicago ahead of Thursday’s finale against the Pirates, but no official announcement about his availability has been made as of this post.
