Chicago Cubs Lineup (4/3/24): Cubs Go For Sweep with Little as Opener
The Cubs will be looking for their first sweep of the season in only their second series. Of course, the Rockies have looked like a dumpster fire so far this year, but getting wins in games the Cubs should win will be critical on the path to clinching a spot in the playoffs.
On the mound for the Cubs and playing the role of opener tonight, will be LHP Luke Little. He’s pitched in two games so far this season over the same number of innings, with one strikeout and no earned runs. Ideally, Little will be able to go two innings before handing the ball to RHP Ben Brown.
Leading off and playing left for the Cubs is Ian Happ, followed by Seiya Suzuki in right, Cody Bellinger playing DH, and Christopher Morel at third. Dansby Swanson is at short, Michael Busch is playing first, and Nico Hoerner is at second. Mike Tauchman is in center and Miguel Amaya is behind the plate.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:40pm CT and will be broadcast on Marquee Sports Network and 670 The Score.
Update: First pitch has just been moved to 7:00pm CT
