Watch: Dansby Swanson, Michael Busch Bash Home Runs Against Dodgers
The Cubs have already exploded for six runs early in the first game of their three-game series against the Dodgers. With Kyle Hendricks on the mound, you have to feel pretty good about that. Although, Hendricks did surrender two runs in the first inning off a walk, two singles, and a double.
The Cubs got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd inning after a solo home run by Dansby Swanson, his second home run of the young season. The Cubs went on to score four more runs in that inning off two walks, two singles, and a Seiya Suzuki double.
Fast forward to the bottom of the 3rd inning, where Michael Busch registered his first home run as a member of the Chicago Cubs. That extended the lead to 6-2, Cubs.
