Cubs Lineup: Candelario Starting at 3rd as Cubs Play Finale Against Mets

To be sure, the Cubs haven’t done much to excite their loyal, loving fans while playing the last three days in New York. So the call up of the Cubs uber prospect, third baseman Jeimer Candelario, may actually be the most exciting thing to happen in the last few days.

Jeimer will get the start today at third base today as the Cubs attempt to steal the final game in New York. Javier Baez is in at shortstop for Addison Russell, who has the day off.

Willson Contreras is lining up in left field, while the ever-versatile Kris Bryant will cover right field.
