Chicago Cubs Lineup: Baez at Second Base Batting Clean Up, Hendricks Pitching
Javier Baez sure is starting to look comfortable at second base for the Chicago Cubs (63-41). He’s been in there a lot lately, having started six consecutive games at second prior to sitting out yesterday’s game. Joe Maddon clearly likes to see Javy’s bat in the lineup but it seems like he’s growing comfortable with him at second too.
Matt Szczur is in at left field today so that gives Ben Zobrist some rest.
The Miami Marlins (57-48) are right in the mix in the National League East, sitting four games back from first place Washington, and they currently hold a one game lead over the St. Louis Cardinals in the race for the second wild card spot.
Here is tonight’s #Cubs lineup against the #Marlins.
