Cubs Clips: WATCH Cubs Pregame Video Tribute to Honor David Ross Before Cardinals Game
If you ask any of the Cubs’ players who the leader on the team is, they do not hesitate. It’s David Ross. They look up to him with admiration and respect. And today, they got to tell him that in a beautifully produced pregame video that’s sure to bring tears to your eyes.
In addition to the video, the Cubs presented David with a framed jersey that he was wearing when he hit his 100th home run of his career, the home plate from Jake Arrieta’s no-hitter he caught earlier this year and his number 3 from the Wrigley Field scoreboard. An awesome tribute for one heck of a great guy.
To an amazing teammate and an even better person.

To further honor Ross, Anthony Rizzo even used his walk-up song, Forever Young. Jokingly, David said, “Hey, that’s my song!”
