Wrigley Construction Update: Sod Has Arrived!

For the last few weeks, every picture of Wrigley has shown a bare field. That was understandable as heavy equipment littered the infield, but seeing a giant sandlot with less than two weeks until the home opener was starting to freak people out.

If this picture from Twitter user Anthony Orlandi (@AGOrlandi) is any indication, though, we’ll soon see actual grass on the field. [Does happy dance, tweaks back, sits back down to finish post]
