I usually use the first part of these posts to write something super witty, but today I would like to acknowledge that you’re really here for the video schwag. I get it. My feelings are not hurt. Here you go.

Keeping with the theme from last year, the Cubs scored every one their runs in the first nine innings against the Reds last night via the longball (recap here). First up was Jason Heyward. How’s that new swing treating you J-Hey?

Next to go yard was Javy Baez — the man with the fourth-best selling MLB jersey — with his first homer of the 2017 regular season.
