This peek behind the curtain of the scouting and draft process comes to us courtesy of Cubs Productions, and they really stepped up their game on this one. For the sake of ease, we often place the credit or blame on the triumvirate of Theo Epstein, Jed Hoyer, and Jason McLeod, but it’s so much more than that. Those guys might make some of the final decisions, but they’re dependent upon a team and a process that involved dozens more people.
