When CI’s resident highlight-video maven, Corey Freedman, told me to guess what Ben Zobrist’s numbers have been since the utility infielder hurt his wrist, I guessed low. But, wow, I didn’t realize his numbers have been this bad.

Before the 36-year-old veteran sat for a few games on May 26, he had hit to a .346 wOBA with a 111 wRC+ — typical Zorilla numbers. But since that short time off with wrist pain, he has a .244 wOBA and an incredibly low 45 wRC+ (177 plate appearances).
