Watch: Kyle Schwarber Mashes Second Spring Homer
It’s never good for a pitcher to have a 3-1 count against Kyle Schwarber (though it’s not as bad as the Indians having a 3-1 lead against the Cubs in the World Series). It’s even worse when that pitcher is feeling a little shook after throwing over to first when Anthony Rizzo was literally standing on the bag.

With the crowd’s derision still ringing in his ears, Angels righty Matt Showmaker rocked and fired to Schwarber, who sent the ball out to right-center at a very high rate of speed. If you look closely, you can see the vapor trail.
