Updated Projections Think Cubs Will Finish with NL’s Best Record
The Cubs are projected to finish the season with 93 wins and clinch their third consecutive NL Central crown. That win total is the best in the NL and tied with the Yankees and Red Sox for second-best in MLB behind the Astros (98). That sounds pretty good to me.

The second-place finisher in the Central is a tie between the Cardinals and Brewers with 85 wins. That puts the two Cubs rivals 8 games back from the crown.
