Watch: Kyle Schwarber Nails Freeman at Home on Wild Play
It took a strange sequence to get there, but the result was yet another Kyle Schwarber laser to throw out a runner trying to score. Willson Contreras tried to catch Freddie Freeman stealing second base, but the throw bounced off Freeman’s leg and into shallow left field.
The Braves first baseman just kept on running, but ended up making the same mistake we’ve seen by other baserunners: Challenging Schwarber’s arm. War Bear picked up the ball, made a slightly off-balance throw, and nailed Freeman trying to score.
