Watch: Kyle Schwarber Destroys Third HR in Four Games
Sorry if my typing is a little shaky, I’m just laughing about all the people who thought Kyle Schwarber was done when he was demoted a year ago. After taking Reds starter Luis Castillo deep Friday night, yesterday’s anniversary of that trip to Iowa marked the only game in the last four in which he hasn’t homered.
With that booming jack-job, War Bear now leads the Cubs in home runs (15) and OPS (.871), and his 2.1 fWAR heading into the game was second to only Kris Bryant (2.4). Huh, that seems good.
.@kschwarb12 has homered in three of his last four games.
