Watch: Yu Darvish Throws Live BP Session

Yu Darvish took the bump in Mesa Tuesday morning to throw a 25-pitch live BP session to Albert Almora Jr. and Kyle Schwarber. He looked to be throwing free and easy and the velocity appeared to be really good, at least from the angle of the video below from MLB.com’s Jordan Bastian.

Darvish was in good spirits afterwards and spend a little time talking with pitching coach Tommy Hottovy before signing autographs for some of the fans in attendance.
