Jen-Ho Tseng to Start Cactus League Opener vs Milwaukee
We have our first pitching probable of 2019! Perhaps that’s a bit too much excitement for the Cactus League opener, but I’m just happy to have baseball back in our lives after this offseason. The Cubs announced Wednesday afternoon that Jen-Ho Tseng will get the ball against the Brewers to kick off the spring training slate at Sloan Park.
Jen-Ho Tseng will start Saturday's exhibition opener vs. Milwaukee at Sloan Park. More pitching probables to come later.

Tseng has appeared in three games (two starts, one relief appearance) for the Cubs after making his MLB debut during the 2017 season. He’s tossed a total of eight innings to the tune of a 9.00 ERA, though he’s racked up 11 strikeouts in the process. Tseng is looking to bounce back after a rough year in Triple-A Iowa, where he went 2-15, posting a 6.27 ERA in 136.1 innings pitched (26 starts).
