Watch: Adbert Alzolay Hangs 4 Straight Ks in Debut
I don’t want to sound hyperbolic, but Adbert Alzolay might be the greatest pitcher of all time. He certainly looked pretty good Thursday night as he struck out four straight Mets hitters, including the side in the 6th. The put-away pitches were as follows: changeup (swinging), slider (looking), fastball (swinging), fastball (swinging).
The last one was 96 and up in on Amed Rosario, handcuffing the batter after three consecutive changeups. Nasty.
