Watch: Cubs Unleash Three Home Runs in Bottom of 1st, Including Nico Hoerner’s Career First
Things were looking pretty grim in the top of the 1st inning with the Cubs falling behind the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-0. That all changed very quickly in the bottom of the inning. Nicholas Castellanos, Willson Contreras, and Nico Hoerner combined to hit three home runs, scoring five runs.
The wind’s blowing out at Wrigley so stayed tuned.
Nicholas Castellanos matches his career high with home run No. 26.
