Watch: Tony Kemp’s Homer Gives Cubs 8-7 Lead in 7th Inning
Following what appeared to be a strike out, umpires instead called a balk on the Cardinals Gallegos’ 0-2 pitch, giving the Cubs’ Tony Kemp another opportunity to drive in Ben Zobrist. Kemp took advantage of Gallegos’ mistake and blasted a deep fly ball into the Wrigley wind that carried over the fence. 8-7 Cubs.
