Help John Baker’s Bandanas for Bars Raise Money for Two Wrigleyville Dives

Former Cubs catcher John Baker forged a legend with an epic performance on July 29, 2014 in which he pitched a perfect 16th inning and later scored the winning run on a sac fly. To be exact, it was actually well into July 30 when Baker went to work. Now a mental skills coordinator with the Cubs, he has teamed up with The Son Ranto Show, Ivy Envy Podcast, and numerous Cubs new media types on John Baker Day, a celebration of “the night the backup catcher got the win.’

This annual party has been hosted every year at Nisei Lounge and Gman Tavern, raising over $20,000 for various charities. But now the out of work employees at the best dive bar and the best rock and roll bar in Wrigleyville need our help to stay afloat during these difficult times. Wanna know how you can lend a hand?

By dressing up your face mask with a John Baker bandana!

All proceeds will be split and donated to the GoFundMe campaigns of Nisei Lounge and Gman Tavern (click on the links to donate directly). Help us help the people who keep the party going before and after Cubs games all season long.

Thank you.
