Kris and Jess Bryant Welcome Son, Kyler Lee

Things had been quiet on the Instagram front for Kris Bryant ever since he posted a video of his wife, Jess, smoking a line drive in the batting cage, but that’s to be expected when you’re expecting. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Kyler Lee, this past Tuesday and shared a picture of their new family Saturday afternoon.

I’ve said it before and it remains true: One very shiny silver lining to this whole shutdown is that Bryant gets to stay home with his son for an extended period. The same is true for other players who get more of a chance to be dads, even if the circumstances are less than ideal.
