Cubs Pitchers & Catchers Report Feb 17, First Full-Squad Workout Feb 22
The dates were set quite a bit later than usual due to all the haggling between the league and players, but we finally know when Cubs camp will officially open. Pitchers and catchers report February 17 and the first full-squad workout will take place five days later.

Spring training will look a little different than in the past, with teams limited to no more than 75 players and 75 staff at their complexes. Games played prior to March 13 may be shortened to seven innings, though they could even be limited to five of the managers agree. Games after that point will be scheduled for nine innings and can be shortened to seven if agreed upon.
Fans will be allowed on a limited basis, with Sloan Park operating at 25% capacity and other parks likely doing something similar. It’s not exactly normal, nor should it be, but having baseball back does provide a little reason for hope.
