Cubs Announce Revised 2021 Spring Training Schedule
The Cubs have announced their revised 2021 Spring Training schedule, which now begins Monday, March 1 at the Peoria Sports Complex against the Padres. The Cubs’ first home game is Tuesday, March 2 at Sloan Park vs. the Royals.
The new 28-game schedule is evenly split, with 14 games at Sloan Park and 14 Cactus League road games, and the Cubs have just one off-day on March 16. Most home games will begin at 1:05pm local time, but their March 17 game against the Padres and March 25 against the Dodgers start at 6:05pm. The Cubs’ Cactus League finale March 29 vs. the Diamondbacks starts at 12:05pm.
The Cubs will play the White Sox play twice this spring, on March 15 in Glendale and March 23 in Mesa.
Single-game ticket sales to games at Sloan Park begins Friday, February 19, at 1pm CT. To ensure physical distancing at Sloan Park, limited-capacity, pod-style seating will be implemented for the 2021 season. Tickets will be available in pods of two, four, and six in the seating bowl and in pods of two and four in the General Admission Lawn and Budweiser Rooftop sections.
All games should be carried on Marquee Sports Network, with 670 The Score carrying many of them on the radio as well.
