Cubs Trade Jake Marisnick to San Diego Padres
I’ve got to be honest, this flurry of trades that the Cubs have just pulled off is like nothing I’ve ever seen. Kris Bryant has reportedly been traded to the San Francisco Giants, and right at the moment I hit publish on that story, word has now come out that Jake Marisinick has also been jettisoned.

The good news for Marisnick, and Bryant for that matter, is he’s heading to a contending team and will instantly be in the middle of one of the more intriguing pennant races in baseball in the National League West.
