Cubs Trade Javy Báez, Trevor Williams to Mets in Exchange for OF Pete Crow-Armstrong
As first reported by ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Cubs have agreed to trade Javier Báez to the Mets. Ken Rosenthal added that Trevor Williams is being packaged with Javy. The deal is pending medicals and we’ll update this with more as it becomes available.

UPDATE: The Cubs will be getting the Mets’ No. 5 prospect, OF Pete Crow-Armstrong, in return. No word on if he is the only prospect the Cubs will be getting back, but as of now it sure seems like that’s the case.
