Watch: Alfonso Rivas Tops Off 8-Run Inning with Monster Bomb

Sometimes it looks so easy. And then there are other times when it’s frustratingly difficult. That has been the case for the Cubs in the past four games, of which they’ve lost all.

The 2nd inning today was very kind, however. Alfonso Rivas just blasted a three-run bomb, his first of the season, to top off the eight-run inning. A thing of beauty.

Now let’s just hope that Kyle Hendricks can continue being the shutdown version of himself, and this game should be well in hand.

My goodness, that swing is just so pretty.
