Wade Miley’s Iowa Cubs Rehab Start Goes Very Well
Wade Miley started the season with his new team on the IL with elbow inflammation, but he’s looking like he is very close to a return. As one of the Cubs’ fairly significant offseason acquisitions, not having Miley in the starting rotation has been just one of many challenges the team has had to overcome early in the season.
Miley made a rehab start for the Iowa Cubs tonight, working in a very quick, efficient manner.
Wade Miley's final line from tonight's rehab start: 4 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 3 K, 0 BB, 41 pitches (28 strikes)
Great outing, really looked effortless.

There’s no word yet as to the timing of Miley’s arrival in Chicago, but based on tonight’s performance it’s clear he’s not that far away.
