Listening to Ian Happ‘s voice shout, “Bleacher Jeff, amazing. That’s my guy, Bleacher Jeff,” when he sees the incredible catch of Patrick Wisdom‘s home run is, well, pretty awesome. This is pure and genuine baseball goodness, a real jolt of good feelings at a time when there’s not a whole lot of good feelings hanging around the Chicago Cubs these days.

We have to celebrate the little things in life, folks, especially when the big things aren’t going really well.
