Watch: Patrick Wisdom Slaps Two-Run Homer in San Francisco
Not much was going the Cubs’ way tonight in San Francisco, that was until the 7th inning.
The Cubs were getting no-hit until Ian Happ opened the 7th with a single. Two groundouts later, Patrick Wisdom managed to just barely slap a home run over the left field wall.
There was an umpire review on the play to determine whether the ball actually ended up a home run. It did. And the Cubs now trail 4-2.
