Cubs Trade David Robertson to Phillies for RHP Prospect Ben Brown
The Cubs have traded David Robertson to the Phillies, as first reported by Jeff Passan. We’ll update this piece as more information becomes available, but it’s interesting that Robertson appears to be the lone Cub involved after so many reports of the Cubs trying to bundle players.

Update: The Cubs are receiving right-handed pitching prospect Ben Brown, ranked No. 26 in Philly’s system by MLB.com. Baseball America had him No. 7 in their updated list because he’s been pitching really well. The 22-year-old is 6-foot-6 and 210 pounds with a 60-grade fastball that gets up to 98 and a slider/curve combo to back it up. Brown has pitched very well at High-A this season, striking out 105 and walking just 23 in 73 innings.
