Watch: Gomes Hits 420-Foot Home Run in Cincinnati, Morel Follows with Solo Blast

The Cubs broke out to an early lead today thanks to a line drive home run by Patrick Wisdom. Keegan Thompson struggled with his command and left the game in the 2nd inning being charged for four earned runs. The Cubs were trailing 4-2.

Yan Gomes and Christopher Morel just changed that.

Zach McKinstry hit a double and Yan Gomes followed with a 420-foot home run. Christopher Morel followed with a 394-foot solo blast to give the Cubs the lead.
