Watch: Ian Happ Blasts Two-Run Homer to Lead Off 10th Inning
The Cubs were held hitless until the 7th inning when Craig Counsel inexplicably pulled Freddy Peralta, while he was throwing a no-hitter. Ian Happ delivered the Cubs’ first hit of the game, a two-run home run, to give the Cubs a 2-1 lead.
The Cubs lost that lead in the bottom of the ninth when Rowdy Tellez hit a solo home run.
Well, Ian Happ just gave the Cubs the lead once again. It’s another two-run blast and the Cubs are up 4-2 now.
