Chicago Cubs Lineup (9/8/22): Sampson Pitching, Happ Batting Cleanup, Bote at Third Base
The Chicago Cubs are hoping to win the series today if they can manage to beat the Cincinnati Reds. The Cubs dropped the game last night after the bullpen imploded, so the hope would be that they can get some solid innings from their starter, Adrian Sampson.
Zach McKinstry leads off playing second base, Seiya Suzuki is in right, Franmil Reyes is DH, Ian Happ is in left, and Nico Hoerner is a short. P.J. Higgins is catching, Alfonso Rivas is at first, Nelson Velazquez is in center, and David Bote is at third.
The game is being broadcast for free exclusively on YouTube and it can be heard on 670 The Score. First pitch is scheduled from 1:20pm CT.
